SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
On August 9, 2021 an Unsafe Building/ Emergency Condition -Vacate Order was issued to the Freedman Management Co. LLC concerning an unsafe building with serious hazards known as the Freedman Building 117 Main Street Toledo, OH, parcel No. 1702754. Due to the owner's lack of progress in addressing the Unsafe Building and Emergency Conditions the City of Toledo accepted a proposal from My Great Escape, LLC to stabilize the structure as an emergency project to protect public safety. The proposal is estimated not to exceed $37,300 dollars.
The cost of the stabilization project as well as the City of Toledo cost to secure the emergency site will be certified and assessed to the property owner(s) in compliance with ORC 715.261.
