SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
This ordinance authorizes the City of Toledo to purchase of three flow meter systems to assist the Department of Public Utilities stormwater section in providing more accurate water quality data and in performing inspection analysis. This supports the City of Toledo's compliance with the Ohio EPA National Pollutant Discharge Elimination Systems (NPDES) permit for storm water. After advertisement, the sole bidder, Hach Company, was selected.

NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That the mayor is authorized to enter into an agreement for the purchase of three flow meter systems, upon terms and conditions acceptable to the Directors of Public Utilities and Law.
SECTION 2. That an expenditure in an amount not to exceed $23,364 is authorized from the Storm Water Operating Fund, Account Code 607A-38000-4000552STDSTD, for the purpose identified in Section 1.
