SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
Lucas County will be constructing a roadway project which includes resurfacing Corey Road, Springbrook Drive, and King Road. A portion of the project on Corey Road from the bridge over I-475 to approximately 1850' to the Southeast is within the City of Toledo limits. This project is scheduled to construct in 2021.

Lucas County will administer the design and construction of the project with county funds and is paying for 100% of the construction outside of the city limits. Lucas County has been awarded funding from the Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) to help fund the project. The City of Toledo will participate in the costs by paying for 66% of the portion that is within the city limits, to be paid for with Matches and Planning Funds. The other 34% is funded by OPWC.
