Authorizing the mayor to enter into a five-year agreement with Getac Video Solutions, Inc. for the purchase of cloud video storage for Getac body worn cameras; authorizing the expenditure of an amount not to exceed $280,000 from the Law Enforcement Trust Fund for the first year of the agreement; authorizing the annual expenditure of an amount not to exceed $280,000 from the General Fund, subject to available appropriation in future years; waiving the competitive bidding requirements of TMC Chapter 187; and declaring an emergency.

The purpose of this legislation is to allow the Toledo Police Department to purchase additional body worn cameras and cloud video storage for the Toledo Police Department's Getac body worn cameras. The cloud video storage purchase is not competitively bid because Getac Video Solutions is the sole source vendor for Getac storage.
