SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The Toledo Fire and Rescue Department's (TFRD) application for financial assistance submitted under the 2019 Port Security Grant Program has been approved in the amount of $730,455. These funds will be used to purchase a Police/Fire vessel to be used in the port of Toledo and as a regional asset at a total estimated cost of $973,940.

As a condition of this award, the City of Toledo is required to contribute a 25% cost match in the amount of $243,485 of non-Federal funds, which is subject to future appropriation. The Federal share is $730,455 from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
