Title
Authorizing the acceptance, deposit, appropriation and expenditure of an amount not to exceed $15,000 from Lucas County into the Capital Improvement Program Fund for the restriping of Bancroft Street within the Lucas County limits; authorizing the mayor to prepare plans and specifications and to enter into a joint cooperation agreement with Lucas County for the Bancroft Street Resurfacing project upon such terms and conditions as approved by the Director of Public Utilities and the Director of Law; and declaring an emergency.

SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The Division of Engineering Services has a resurfacing project on Bancroft Street from Interstate 475 to Holland-Sylvania Road in 2019. The resurfacing will add striped bike lanes throughout the project that will continue into Lucas County rights-of-way. The county supports the bike lanes and has agreed to pay for striping within their jurisdiction. Funding for the project has been secured through Ordinances 66-19, 67-19, and 71-19 with TMACOG, Ohio Public Works Commission, and 2019 Matches and Planning CIP dollars. Lucas County has committed to reimburse the City of Toledo up to $15,000 for striping within their limits.
Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That the mayor is authorized to accept and deposit funds in an amount not to exceed $15,000 from Lucas County into Account Code 5040-35000-8CP1903STREET for striping within the Lucas County limits of the Bancroft Street Resurfacing project.
SECTION 2. Authorizing the appropriation and expenditure of $15,000 from the Capital Improvement Program Fund into Account Code 5040-35000-8CP1903STREET for the Bancroft Street Resurfacing project.
SECTION 3. That disappropriation of any remaining budget to fund balance at project closeout is authorized.
