SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
In collaboration with the Cric_Boyz group, the Division of Parks, Recreation & Forestry plans to develop another cricket pitch within the city to expand the opportunity for others to enjoy additional recreational programming. Formal bidding took place, and contracts for work to be performed at Winterfeld Park are funded and in process. Cric_Boyz are donating $10,000 toward this project. The City's contribution will be $8,750, and will be from the approved Capital Improvement Fund budget.
Summary
NOW THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That a donation in the sum of $10,000 is authorized to be accepted and deposited into the Capital Improvement Fund, Account Code 5040-60500-8CP1904PRKINF.
SECTION 2. That an appropriation of $10,000 is authorized from the Capital Improvement Fund, Account Code 5040-60500-8CP1904PRKINF, for the excavation, construction and installation of a new cricket pitch plus additional upgrades to the grounds at Winterfeld Park.
SECTION 3. That an expenditure in the amount of $18,750 is authorized from the Capital Improvement Fund, Account Code 5040-60500-8CP1904PRKINF, for the excavation, construction and installation of a new cricket pitch plus additional upgrades to the grounds at Winterfeld Park.
