Body
SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The West Oak Walk Business Association (WOW), a business organization in District 5, submitted a District Improvement Program application for the installation of eleven (11) decorative light posts on the north side of Sylvania Avenue between Douglas and Secor to enhance the quaintness of the business district. The lights would be in addition to the current light inventory, but would be more energy efficient and would be the first decorative lights in the area. This ordinance is requesting the expenditure of $105,000 from the Capital Improvement Fund which was appropriated under Ord. 201-18. Further Res. 228-19 was enacted to begin the assessment process.
