SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:

Previous Ordinances 364-20 and 250-22 authorized DPU to enter into a contract with Deloitte for the implementation of the S4HANA billing system. In order to successfully migrate to the new billing system, it has been determined that there is a need to implement OnBase for the S4HANA environment. Deloitte is uniquely qualified to complete the implementation of this software as they are currently working on the implementation of the S4HANA billing system. A supplemental agreement to amend the scope of services and provide funding for the additional work would be executed in order to add this implementation to the existing contract.

During the implementation of the S4HANA billing upgrade, it has also been determined that DPU has a need to obtain cloud hosting services for the legacy ECC6 environment, FTP Servers and SMTP mail servers. These environments would be contained in the AWS cloud with managed services being provided by Deloitte. Deloitte is uniquely qualified to host these environments as they are the existing Application Maintenance Services provider under an existing contract with the City.
