This Ordinance authorizes the General Fund expenditure of no more than $30,000 to purchase a trailer to efficiently transport TFRD inflatable rescue boats to emergency scenes for expedited resource deployment and improved victim rescue and/or recovery times.

Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. The Mayor is authorized to prepare plans and specifications, accept bids, and enter into contracts necessary to purchase a Fire Boat Trailer and related equipment. Said contracts shall contain such terms and conditions as the Mayor may deem requisite and proper and shall be subject to approval by the Department of Law and the Director of Fire.

SECTION 2. That an amount not to exceed $30,000 is authorized for expenditure from the General Fund, Account Code 1001-53000-3341002SPOPSB, for the purpose authorized in Section 1.

SECTION 3. That the Director of Finance is authorized to draw warrant or warrants against the above-mentioned account code in an amount not to exceed $30,000 in payment of the above authorized obligations upon presentation of the proper voucher or vouchers.
