SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
This Ordinance authorizes contract(s) for the cleaning and televising of various sewer lines in the City of Toledo and the submittal of all television records and expenditures not to exceed $2,000,000 from the Sewer Replacement Fund. Bids will be solicited, and the best bidder(s), based upon TMC 187 and rules of the Division of Purchasing, will be awarded contract(s) in accordance with the law. Funds have been appropriated with the 2023 Annual Budget to pay the anticipated cost of said cleaning and televising.
Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is authorized to accept bids and to enter into contract(s) for cleaning and televising of various sewer lines and submittal of television records, upon such terms and conditions as approved by the Director of Public Utilities and the Director of Law.
SECTION 2. That an expenditure in an amount not to exceed $2,000,000 is authorized from the Sewer Replacement Fund, Account Code 6073-37000-4UC0323STDSTD, for cleaning and televising of various sewer lines and submittal of television records.
SECTION 3. That the Finance Director is authorized to issue warrants or warrants against the above-mentioned account code in amounts not to exceed those authorized above in payment of the above-authorized obligations upon presentation of the proper voucher or vouchers.
SECTION 4. That the disappropriation of any remaining budget to fund balance is authorized at project closeout.
