SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
Ordinance 256-22 previously authorized the acceptance of Great Lakes Commission Grant Number GLC-3871 as sub granted from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Department of Commerce Award #NA19NMF4630267 Regional Partnership to Restore Fish Habitat in Priority Great Lake Coastal Sites and Areas of Concern in the amount of $614,147 which was authorized to be deposited into the Operation Grant Fund. Subsequently, the Great Lakes Commission increased award by $119,449 to fund additional project activities. Therefore, this ordinance is to authorize the mayor to accept, deposit, appropriate and expend the additional award received from the Great Lakes Commission. No additional match is required for the additional funds.

Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That the Mayor is authorized to enter into an amended grant agreement with the Great Lakes Commission, in coordination with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration for the Restoration of the Ottawa River in Jermain Park Project upon terms and conditions acceptable to the Director of Public Utilities and the Director of Law.
