SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
Petitioner has filed a request to vacate all of the full 80.00 foot right of ways along the centerlines of both Walbridge Avenue and along the deflecting southeasterly portion along Fassett Street, with one half of the right of way lying 40.00 feet on each side as measured perpendicular along the following courses, in Toledo, Lucas County Ohio.
Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That the City Council does hereby declare its intent to vacate Fassett Street as further described below:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Walbridge Avenue with the westerly Limited Right of Way of Interstate 75 as shown within the "Toledo Expressway System" Plans LUC-25-0.91 for Part 18 of the Expressway on page 56 of 106, Thence Easterly on said Walbridge Avenue centerline to a point of deflection to the RIGHT at 22 Degrees 13 minutes 30 seconds to the centerline of Fassett Street, Thence along said centerline of Fassett Street for a distance of 636 feet more or less to the Northwesterly right of way of the Norfolk Southern Rail Road.
Containing an Area of 68,183.29 Square Feet or 1.5653 Acres of land
SECTION 2. That this matter be referred to the Toledo City Plan Commission for its review, recommendation and appropriate hearing date.
