SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
Ord. 485-22 authorized the Lifepak 15 Cardiac monitor, related equipment, and services purchase contract from the Capital Improvement Fund. Whereby pursuant to TMC 1905.14, this Ord. now separates the same by purchase type and appropriate funding sources as follows, $583,731.23 and $516,268.77 from the Capital Improvement Fund and General Fund, respectively, thereby distinguishing tangible purchases from services.

This Ordinance accordingly repeals and enacts a new Preamble and Section 2 of Ord. 485-22.

Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That the Preamble of Ordinance 485-22 that reads as follow:

"Authorizing the Mayor to enter into agreements and award contracts for the purchase of Lifepak 15 Cardiac Monitors, related equipment, and services, in an amount not to exceed $1,100,000.00; authorizing the expenditure of $1,100,000.00 from the Capital Improvement Fund for said purchase contract; waiving the competitive bidding requirements of TMC Chapter 187; authorizing the Mayor award contracts for said purchases; and declaring an emergency"
