Title
Amending and Supplementing Schedule I of the Traffic Schedules of Part Three of the Toledo Municipal Code; and declaring an emergency.

SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
Section 331.28 of the Toledo Municipal Code provides for the designation of one-way roadways. Schedule I of the Traffic Schedules of Part Three of the Toledo Municipal Code designates one-way roadways in the City of Toledo. It has become necessary to clarify and update the provision of Schedule I of the Traffic Schedules of Part Three of the Toledo Municipal Code so as to be consistent with the current usage of the roadways system of the City of Toledo. Changes to traffic flow in the City of Toledo’s roadway system have occurred via the powers of the Commissioner of Transportation, which have not been reflected in the provisions of the Toledo Municipal Code.

NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That Schedule I, One-Way Streets of the Traffic Schedules of Part Three of the Toledo Municipal Code, be amended by deletion of the following:

SECTION 2. That the Schedule I, One-Way-Streets, of the Traffic Schedules of Part Three of the Toledo Municipal Code is hereby amended by addition of the following:

SECTION 3. That this Ordinance hereby is declared to be an emergency measure and shall be in force and effect from and after its passage. The reason for the emergency lies in the fact that same is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety, and property and for the further reason that the immediate application of the Ordinance will ensure uniformity for the benefit of the general citizenry.
