Authorizing and expressing Toledo City Council's support for the mayor to prepare and submit applications to participate in the Ohio Public Works Commission, State Capital Improvement and Local Transportation Improvement Programs and to execute agreements as necessary and appropriate for obtaining this financial assistance; and declaring an emergency.

SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
Both the State Capital Improvement Program and Local Transportation Improvement Program provide financial assistance to political subdivisions for capital improvements to public infrastructure. The infrastructure improvements detailed and delineated in Section 1 are considered to be priority needs for the community and are qualified projects under these Ohio Public Works Commission Programs. Passage of this legislation is procedurally required to allow the City of Toledo to apply for this capital improvement funding.

NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Toledo:

Summit Street/Cherry Street Intersection
Collingwood from Central to Hackett
