SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The purpose of this ordinance is authorizing the payment of $2,120,211 for the Lucas County 911 Regional Council of Governments. Toledo City Council, through Ordinance 31-20, authorized the Mayor to execute an agreement to create the Lucas County 911 Regional Council of Government (COG) in accordance with Section 167.03(A)(5) of the Ohio Revised Code and to organize and operate a Public Safety Answering Point in accordance with Chapter 128 of the Ohio Revised Code. The COG is prepared to begin operations starting October 1, 2021. This ordinance is necessary to reappropriate funds from the Fire & Rescue Department General Fund budget to the Safety Administration General Fund budget for Toledo's fourth quarter 2021 payment for the COG.

The fiscal impact of this ordinance is as follows:
