Body
SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The Division of Water Reclamation has identified the need to increase the efficient use of operating funds by transferring remaining funds and conduct a project to rebuild critical pumps. The Major Pump Rebuild Project will enable the Division to repair and rebuild major pumps, motors, valves and piping at critical pump stations throughout the City including the Bay View Pump Station, East Side Pump Station, Windermere Pump Station, Reynolds Road Pump Station and the Final Effluent Pump Station.

This project is critical to the operation of the Water Reclamation Facility because the components are essential for the treatment of wastewater in order to maintain compliance with the NPDES discharge permit.
