SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The City of Toledo has been awarded funding and is invited to enter into a grant agreement with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for a Great Lakes Restoration Initiative Trash Removal Grant in the amount of $413,970 to be used for the Functional Litter-acy: Trash Trappers for a Cleaner Toledo Project. This ordinance authorizes the mayor to accept, deposit, appropriate and expend up to $413,970 in grant proceeds from the EPA.
