SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
In 2019, the City of Toledo signed a lease with Arms Dock, Inc. to store salt within their facility and relocate the salt pile to make room for future development along the riverfront. In order to efficiently use the enclosed storage space leased from Arms Dock, Inc., a salt stacker conveyor system is necessary. This salt stacker will also be used with the City of Toledo's Leaf Collection Program to assist with bulk storage of leaves at the City of Toledo compost facility.
The City of Toledo publicly advertised for bids for the purchase of a salt stacker. Maverick Environmental Equipment was determined to be the lowest and best bidder. The total bid price was $159,000.
