SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
This Ordinance authorizes the expenditure of One Hundred Five Thousand Five Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($105,500.00) to replace the security camera system located at the Toledo Municipal Court from the Capital Improvement Fund. This critical and essential expenditure will replace a system that is more than twenty (20) years old as well as improve existing operating interface limits. In addition, this security system is essential and critical to the operation of the court and will maintain compliance with Ohio Rules of Superintendence standards regarding court facility security.

Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and the Administrative Judge are authorized to enter into a services agreement that provides for the replacement and installation of security cameras at Toledo Municipal Court upon terms acceptable to the Director of Law and the Municipal Court Administrator.
SECTION 2. The expenditures of funds is authorized in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Five Thousand Five Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($105,500.00) is authorized for expenditure from account code 5040-10800-8CP1433SECRTY for $100,000 and 5040-10800-8CP2008SECRTY for $5,500 for the replacement and installation of security cameras at Toledo Municipal Court.
SECTION 3. That the Director of Finance is authorized to draw his warrant or warrants against the above account code in payment of the above obligations upon presentation of the proper voucher or vouchers.
SECTION 4. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. The reason for the emergency lies in the fact that the same is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and property, and for further reason that the Ordinance must be immediately effective in order to allow for the critical and essential replacement of the security camera system located at the Toledo Municipal Court.
