SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The Burroughs Neighborhood Association submitted a District Improvement Program application for the development of "The Triangle," city-owned property at the intersection of Airport Highway and South Avenue in District 2. The proposal will include flagpoles, solar lights, a neighborhood welcome sign and memorials for military service branches and service members. The District Improvement Review Committee convened on April 4, 2019, and recommended approval of this application in an amount not to exceed $13,000.

Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That a sum not to exceed $13,000 is authorized for expenditure from Account Code 5040-16400-8CP1817DNGPRO for the District Improvement Program, The Triangle Development Project, as detailed in Attachment A.

SECTION 2. That the Mayor is authorized to execute the necessary contract(s) for the District Improvement Program, The Triangle Development Project upon such terms and conditions as shall be approved by the Director of the Department of Neighborhoods and Business Development, the Director of Public Service and the Director of Law.

SECTION 3. That the Director of Finance is authorized to draw warrant or warrants against the above account code in payment of the above authorized obligations in an amount not to exceed that authorized in Section 1 upon presentation of the proper voucher or vouchers.

SECTION 4. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. The reason for ...
