City Council desires to change the Rules of Council as revised to April 2, 2019.
Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That a new Rule VI(J) of the Rules of Council be and the same is hereby enacted to read as follows:
J. Petitioners who make application to Council for placement of farmland in an agricultural district (O.R.C. Section 929.02), shall deposit with the Clerk of Council the sum of $200.00 to pay the cost of preparation of legislation and publication of said application.
SECTION 2. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. The reason for the emergency lies in the fact that this Ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and property, and for the further reason that the Rules of Council need to be revised to meet the needs of this City Council.
