Title

Authorizing the annual maintenance costs of the Civica CMI (CMI) software; authorizing the expenditure of an amount not to exceed $118,500 annually from the General Fund; and declaring an emergency.

Body

SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:

This ordinance authorizes the expenditure of funds for annual maintenance costs for the Civica CMI tax authority system. The division of taxation implemented CMI in February 2016 (authorized by ordinance 258-15). The annual maintenance cost covers customer support services and annual software updates. Funds are included annually in the operating budget to cover this expenditure.
