NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That the Mayor is authorized to enter into a two-year Accurint Virtual Crime Center agreement with Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions, Inc. for a subscription to the Accurint Virtual Crime Center to assist with criminal apprehension and investigations.

SECTION 2. That the expenditure of an amount not to exceed $50,882.00 for the first year and subject to future appropriations $52,408.46 for the second year is authorized from the General Fund Account Code 1001-52000-3381002STDSTD for the subscription authorized in Section 1.

SECTION 3.                       That this council finds it in the best interest of the city to waive the competitive bidding requirements of TMC Chapter 187 for Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions for the reason that Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions is the sole source provider for the Accurint Virtual Crime Center service.
