SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
In conjunction with the City of Toledo's acquisition of federal and state funding sources for infrastructure improvements, the city also works with and through the TMACOG. The city's 2019 transportation assessment fee to TMACOG for their services is $51,571. Funds have been budgeted and are available in the 2019 Division of Engineering Services' operating budget to provide for this payment.

The Stormwater Coalition is made up of governments, universities, and non-government groups that contribute annual membership dues to TMACOG. The city's 2019 dues are $12,058. TMACOG sponsors a yearly educational sampling program for Toledo Area High School students known as the Student Watershed Watch. This funding is used for test kits and student presentation expenses. The city's 2019 contribution to this program is $9,950. Clear Choices, Clean Water is a water quality educational program for the Greater Toledo Area.
