SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
Ordinance 170-18 authorized the mayor to enter into agreements, accept, and deposit up to an $110,000 grant and a $165,000 loan from the Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) for the Jamieson Ditch Improvements Phase 2 Project. It also authorized the mayor to accept bids and enter into contracts for the project. This ordinance appropriates $750,000 from the Stormwater Improvement Fund to pay the local share of the project and authorizes the mayor to accept bids and enter into contracts for the project. The Jamieson Ditch Improvements Phase 2 Project is an upstream continuation of Phase 1 improvements and will consist of a new storm pipe on Goodwood Avenue at the Jamieson Ditch inlet headwall, between Northgate Parkway and Linda Drive to the Jamieson Ditch outlet headwall between Northgate Parkway and Regina Parkway. It will further alleviate upstream flooding and allow additional homes to be removed from the regulatory floodplain.

Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That an amount not to exceed $750,000 is appropriated from the unappropriated balance of the Stormwater Improvement Fund into account code 607B-35000-4UC0119STDSTD for the Jamieson Ditch Phase 2 Project; and the expenditure of the same is authorized.
SECTION 2. That the mayor is authorized to accept bids and enter into contracts in an amount not to exceed $750,000 for said project including such items as labor, materials, real estate incidentals, purchase of right...
