SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The active Hoffman Road Landfill, the closed Stickney Avenue, Tyler Street and Dura Avenue landfills, the former XX KEM facility, and the former Textileather facility are required by environmental regulations and facility permitting documents to complete routine monitoring activities and submit reports to multiple regulatory agencies. Environmental compliance and engineering services are required to effectively implement the monitoring and operational programs. This contract is for professional services to provide the requisite inspections, sampling, and reporting activities that are required to comply with the relevant environmental regulations for each facility. This contract also provides for miscellaneous professional services to investigate and respond to site conditions that may arise, for review and response to questions from the regulatory agencies, and for engineering services necessary to support operation and maintenance of each facility.

After review of competitive proposals, in accordance with the provisions of TMC 187, in effect at the time a Request for Proposal (RFP), the Division of Solid Waste will award annual contract(s) to appropriately qualified firm (s) for a one-year period, with the option of annual renewal of up to four (4) additional years for a total of five (5) years.
