Title
Authorizing and expressing City Council's support for the mayor to prepare and submit applications to participate in the Ohio Public Works Commission, State Capital Improvement and Local Transportation Improvement Programs and to execute agreements as necessary and appropriate for obtaining this financial assistance; and declaring an emergency.

SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
Both the State Capital Improvement Program and Local Transportation Improvement Program provide financial assistance to political subdivisions for capital improvements to public infrastructure. The infrastructure improvements detailed and delineated in Section 1 are considered to be priority needs for the community and are qualified projects under these Ohio Public Works Commission Programs. Passage of this legislation is procedurally required to allow the City of Toledo to apply for this capital improvement funding.
Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That this Council supports the Mayor's applications to the Ohio Public Works Commission for funds for the following described projects:
Wenz Road, Angola to Hill Reclamation
Holland-Sylvania Road, Bancroft to Elmer Resurfacing
Bancroft Street, I-475 to Holland-Sylvania Resurfacing
Bennett Road, Laskey to Alexis Reconstruction
Airport Highway, South to Byrne Resurfacing
Dorr Street, Reynolds to Byrne Resurfacing
Enterprise Boulevard, Alexis to Matzinger, Reclamation
Coining Drive, Jackman to Transport, Rehabilitation
Hill Avenue, I-475 to Holland Sylvania Resurfacing
Glendale Avenue, Anthony Wayne Trail to Charmaine Resurfacing
Oak Street, Woodville to Front Resurfacing
Summit Street, Ottawa River bridge to 101st, Resurfacing
Marine Road Resurfacing
