SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
Ordinance #215-18 authorized the Mayor to accept, deposit, appropriate and expend the ESG dollars for the 32nd Year pursuant to Schedule A. On July 17, 2018, the Zepf Center informed the department they would rescind their 2018 (32nd) Year ESG contract. This legislation authorizes the funding originally allocated to the Zepf Center to now be allocated to St. Paul's Community Center for stabilization and/or emergency services to address ending homelessness in the Toledo community.

The financial impact of this Ordinance is the ESG dollars in the amount of $22,470 originally awarded to the Zepf Center will now be allocated to St. Paul's Community Center to provide services for homeless prevention to the citizens of Toledo.

Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. Authorizing the expenditure of the 2018 (32nd) Year ESG pursuant to the attached revised Schedule A for the purposes stated in Section 2.

SECTION 2. That the Mayor and the Director of Neighborhood and Business Development are authorized to enter into any necessary agreements with St. Paul's Community Center to carry out the ESG eligible activities to address ending homelessness.

SECTION 3. That the Finance Director is authorized to issue his warrant or warrants in an amount not to exceed $22,470 in payment of all obligations upon presentation of properly approved documentation.

SECTION 4. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
