SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
Ordinance 500-17 authorized a one-year contract, with two renewal options, with Resource Exploration for access to and support costs for the priority based budgeting (PBB) online software applications. The annual cost for the PBB applications is $20,000. This ordinance authorizes the expenditure of funds for year two of the contract. Funds have been included in the General Fund 2018 operating budget for this expenditure.
Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That the expenditure of $20,000 is authorized from the General Fund, account code 1001-14100-1122001STDSTD for access to and support costs for the Priority Based Budgeting online software applications.
SECTION 2. That the finance director is authorized to draw her warrant or warrants against the above account code in payment of the above authorized obligations in an amount not the exceed $20,000 upon the properly approved voucher or vouchers.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure and shall be in force and effect from and after its passage. The reason for the emergency lies in the fact that it is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety, and property, and for the further reason that this Ordinance must be immediately effective in order to continue to provide PBB data through the PBB software applications.
