SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The 2018 CIP Budget contains funding for the below listed projects to be undertaken by the Division of Transportation. To allow for timely project initiation, coordination, and execution of construction activities, it is necessary to proceed with authorization of expenditure of funds.

Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That $230,000 is authorized for expenditure from the Capital Improvement Fund for the projects below:

SECTION 2. That the mayor is authorized to prepare plans and specifications, accept bids and execute contracts for the improvements identified in Section 1 above, including such items as labor, materials, construction testing, professional services, property appraisals, title work, negotiations, acquisition, and environmental contamination studies that are necessary to acquire additional rights-of-way, upon such terms and conditions as acceptable to the mayor and the director of law.

SECTION 3. That the finance director is authorized to draw her warrant or warrants against the Account Code identified in Section 1 in payment of the authorized obligations in an amount not to exceed $230,000 upon presentation of the proper voucher or vouchers.

SECTION 4. That this Ordinance, being an emergency measure, shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. The ...
