Title
Authorizing the appropriation and operating transfer of $35,100 from the unappropriated balance of the Water Replacement Fund into the Water Operating Fund in the amount of $30,000 and Utility Administrative Services Fund in the amount of $5,100; authorizing the appropriation and operating transfer of $35,100 from the unappropriated balance of the Sewer Replacement Fund into the Sewer Operating Fund in the amount of $30,000 and Utility Administrative Services Fund in the amount of $5,100; authorizing the expenditure in an amount not to exceed $30,000 from the Water Operating Fund, $30,000 from the Sewer Operating Fund and $10,200 from the Utilities Administrative Services Fund for the internship program with Toledo Public Schools and other seasonal personnel; and declaring an emergency.

SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The city of Toledo has entered into a partnership with Toledo Public Schools for summer interns. These funds were not appropriated in the original 2018 Operating Budget. This ordinance would provide additional funding for this purpose and other seasonal personnel.

NOW THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That the sum of $35,100 is appropriated from the unappropriated balance of the Water Replacement Fund into the following account codes:

That an operating transfer in the amount of $30,000 is authorized from the Water Replacement Fund into the Water Operating Fund and an operating transfer in the amount of $5,100 is authorized from the Water Replacement Fund into the Utilities Administration Fund under the following account codes:
