SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The WateReuse Association is the nation's only trade association solely dedicated to advancing laws, policy, funding, and public acceptance of recycled water. WateReuse members have access to hundreds of recorded webcasts, exploring all aspects of water reuse with a goal of increasing sustainable reuse. This Ordinance authorizes the expenditure of $15,611 for the city's annual dues in 2024.

Summary
NOW THEREFORE Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That an amount not to exceed $7,337 is authorized for expenditure to WateReuse Association from the Water Operating Fund Account Code 6060-32000-4000500STDSTD for the City of Toledo's 2024 dues.

SECTION 2. That an amount not to exceed $7,492 is authorized for expenditure to WateReuse Association from the Sewer Operating Fund Account Code 6070-36000-4000507STDSTD for the City of Toledo's 2024 dues.

SECTION 3. That an amount not to exceed $782 is authorized for expenditure to WateReuse Association from the Storm Water Operating Account Code 607A-37000-4000551STDSTD for the City of Toledo's 2024 dues.

SECTION 4. That the Finance Director is authorized to issue their warrant or warrants against the account codes identified in Sections 1, 2, and 3 in an amount not to exceed $15,611 in payment of the above obligations upon presentation of the proper voucher or vouchers.

SECTION 5. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
