SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
On June 17, 2025, this Council adopted Resolution No. 277-25 approving the establishment of the Revised Downtown Toledo Improvement District (the District), the Articles of Incorporation of Revised Downtown Toledo Improvement District Inc. and an initial plan for enhanced public services in the District, all in accordance with a petition signed by the owners of at least 60% of the frontage of all real property located within the.

This Council has on this date adopted a Resolution approving the report of the amended Downtown Improvement District given by the Assessment Equalization Board which was appointed by Resolution No. 278-25 adopted June 17, 2025

In accordance with the Ordinance to Proceed, this Council has determined and here by proceeds to levy special assessments on the lots and lands identified in the ordinance to proceed in even date.

Summary
NOW, THEREFORE,

Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That the special assessments for the cost and expense of providing, in the Revised Downtown Toledo Improvement District, the enhanced public services pursuant to Resolution No. 277-25 adopted on June 17, 2025 and by the ordinance to proceed, amounting in the revised and amended aggregate to $5,860,846, which are on file in the office of the Clerk of Council, are adopted and confirmed. Those special assessments are levied and assessed upon the lots and lands provided for in Resolution No. 277-25 and amended by the ordinance to proceed in the respective amounts set forth as identified and listed on Exhibit A, which special assessments have been calculated in the manner provided in Resolution No. 277-25 and the ordinance to proceed are not in excess of the special benefits or any statutory limitation.
