SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The City of Toledo has been awarded funding and is invited to enter into a grant agreement with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA) for a H2Ohio grant in the amount of $2,463,591 to be used for the Raw Water Main Design project at the Water Treatment Plant. This ordinance authorizes the acceptance, deposit, appropriation and expenditure of up to $2,463,591 in grant proceeds from OEPA.

Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That the Mayor is authorized to enter into a grant agreement with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency for the Raw Water Main Design project for the Water Treatment Plant, upon terms and conditions acceptable to the Director of Public Utilities and the Director of Law.

SECTION 2. That the Mayor is authorized to accept and deposit grant proceeds from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency in an amount not to exceed $2,463,591 into the Water Replacement Grant Fund, Account Code 663G-32000-4UG6823STDSTD, for the purpose of completing work necessary to administer the grant.

SECTION 3. That the appropriation from the unappropriated grant proceeds in an amount not to exceed $2,463,591 is authorized from the Water Replacement Grant Fund into Account Code 663G-32000-4UG6823STDSTD; and further authorizin...
