This ordinance is a budget adjustment for fuel costs.
It was discussed at the Budget Task Force that there would not be one comprehensive mid-year budget adjustment ordinance this year. Instead, budget adjustments will be handled through individual ordinances as specific needs arise.
For example, last week Council passed Ordinance 383-26, for the “reappropriation of $400,000 within the Judges Division General Fund.” Last year, similar TMC Judges adjustments were included in the single mid-year budget adjustment ordinance.
