SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
This Ordinance authorizes expending an amount not to exceed $20,000 from appropriated Forestry Operating budget to have a new gate operator installed and have the underground electrical line repaired.

Summary
NOW THEREFORE Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That an expenditure in an amount not to exceed $20,000 is authorized from the Special Assessment Services Fund Account Code 3050-27100-2423001STDSTD for a new gate operator to be installed and the electrical line to be repaired at 221 Elmdale.

SECTION 2. That the Mayor is authorized to accept bids and award contracts for the purposes specified in Section 1, upon terms and conditions as approved by the Director of Law and the Director of Public Service.

SECTION 3. That the Director of Finance is authorized to draw their warrant or warrants against the Account Code in Section 1 in payment of the above authorized obligations in an amount not to exceed $20,000 upon presentation of the proper voucher or vouchers.

SECTION 4. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. The reason for the emergency lies in the fact that the same is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and property, and for further reason that the Ordinance must be immediately effective in order to allow the timely installation and repair of the gate operat...
