SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
Pursuant to the removal of two other elevated walkways along with written support and approval for the demolition of the Bridge Concourse has been received from Continental Real Estate Companies and FIS 3 LLC, successors in interest respectively to Toledo Convention Hotel Company, Limited Partnership and TOLEX II Limited Partnership as owners of the properties connecting to Bridge Concourse, the City is authorized to move forward with the reconstruction of Summit Street from Lafayette Street to Jackson Boulevard.

In fitting with the new streetscape of Summit Street, it is necessary that the overhead pedestrian concourse connecting to the buildings located at 101 and 102 N. Summit (the "Bridge Concourse") be removed.

This ordinance authorizes the closure and demolition of the Bridge Concourse.
