Title
Authorizing the Mayor to enter into a software license and maintenance agreement with Insight Public Sector for the renewal of 36 Autodesk licenses for a period of 36 months; authorizing the expenditure of an amount not to exceed $40,380 from the Capital Improvement Fund; authorizing the expenditure of an amount not to exceed $38,120 from the Street Construction Maintenance and Repair Fund; and declaring an emergency.

Body
SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The Toledo Department of Transportation utilizes Autodesk for the design of sewer, water, roadway, and stormwater projects. The department would like to renew its existing licenses with a three-year agreement through Insight Public Sector (IPS) for thirty-six (36) seats of Autodesk, along with related software and maintenance. IPS is a provider of this software through a State of Ohio cooperative purchasing agreement. Procuring this software through this agreement allows TDOT to acquire the software and maintenance at the lowest possible cost to the city.

Funding for this expenditure is included in the Division of Engineering and Construction's, Road and Bridge Maintenance's, and Traffic Management's operating budget.

Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That the Mayor is authorized to enter into software license and maintenance agreement utilizing State of Ohio cooperative purchasing with Insight Public Sector for thirty-six (36) seats of Autodesk, for a period of 36 months upon such terms and conditions as the mayor may deem requisite and proper, subject to approval by the Department of Law and the Director of the Department of Transportation.

SECTION 2. That an amount not to exceed $40,380 is authorized for expenditure from the Capital Improvement Fund Account Code 5040-35000-8C35000PROSUP for the renewal of the Autodesk license agreements.
