SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
Ordinance 254-19 authorized the Mayor to enter into a contract with Enterprise Fleet Management for vehicle and equipment replacement for the city's fleet. The Toledo Lucas County Plan Commissions will utilize this contract to lease vehicles for the Department's zoning compliance operations. The budget for this expenditure is available in the department's operating budget within the General Fund.
Summary
NOW THEREFORE Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That, subject to annual appropriations, an amount not to exceed $21,385 annually over the term of the master lease agreement is authorized for expenditure from the General Fund Account Code 1001-10400-5611001STDSTD for the purpose of leasing vehicles for the Department's zoning compliance operations pursuant to the existing agreement with Enterprise Fleet Management.
SECTION 2. That the Finance Director is authorized to draw warrant or warrants against the above Account Code in an amount not to exceed $21,385 in payment of all above-authorized obligations upon presentation of proper voucher or vouchers.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. The reason for the emergency lies in the fact that the same is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and property, and for further reason that the Ordinance must be immediately effective in order to maintain safe, reliable vehicles and equipment for the Toledo Lucas County Plan Commissions.
