SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The Bayview Retirees Golf Course submitted a District Improvement Program application for the Bayview Retirees Golf Course Project in District 6. The proposal includes the purchase of a lawn mower in order to facilitate volunteer maintenance of a city owned golf course. The District Improvement Review Committee convened on June 5, 2020, and recommended approval of this application in an amount not to exceed $30,957.50.

Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That a sum not to exceed $30,957.50 is authorized for expenditure from Account Code 5040-16400-8CP1817DNGPRO for the District Improvement Program, Bayview Retirees Golf Course Project, as detailed in Attachment A.

SECTION 2. That the Mayor is authorized to execute the necessary contract(s) for the District Improvement Program, Bayview Retirees Golf Course Project upon such terms and conditions as shall be approved by the Director of the Department of Neighborhoods and Business Development, the Director of Public Service and the Director of Law.

SECTION 3. That the Director of Finance is authorized to draw warrant or warrants against the above account code in payment of the above authorized obligations in an amount not to exceed that authorized in Section 1 upon presentation of the proper voucher or vouchers.

SECTION 4. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
