Resolution Approving the Lucas County 911 Final Plan; and declaring an emergency.

Summary
WHEREAS, Ohio Revised Code Chapter 128 requires each county in the State of Ohio, including the Lucas County Board of Commissioners, to appoint and maintain a 911 Program Review Committee, and

WHEREAS, the 911 Program Review Committee shall meet at least once annually to adopt an updated 911 Final Plan which is to be submitted to the county and legislative authority of each municipal corporation and township in the county and to the State of Ohio 911 Program Office along with a report detailing the sources and amounts of revenue expended to support and all costs incurred to operate the countywide 911 system for the previous year, and

WHEREAS, within sixty days of receipt of the 911 Final Plan, the board of county commissioners and legislative authority of each municipal corporation and township in the county must act to approved or disapprove the plan; and

WHEREAS, on March 12, 2024 the 911 Program Review Committee adopted Resolution 2024-01 to accept, adopt and submit the financial report pursuant to the requirements of Chapter 128 of the Ohio Revised Code.

NOW THEREFORE, Be it resolved that: by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That the Final 911 Plan, attached hereto as "Exhibit A," and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

SECTION 2. That it is hereby found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and related to the passage of this Resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
