SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The Toledo-Lucas County Plan Commission wishes to begin digitizing its historic records in an effort to better organize and preserve the same, as well as create additional space in its office environment. The City sought competitive bids for the digitization and indexing of these records, which includes current and historic case files, past meeting minutes, VHS, cassette, and DVD media, Haines directories, aperture cards, and large-scale maps and drawings.

Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That the Mayor is authorized to enter into agreements for the digitization and indexing of historic records, upon such terms and conditions are deemed proper and requisite according to the Director of Information Technology and the Director of Law.

SECTION 2. That the expenditure of an amount not to exceed $300,000 is authorized from the Information Technology Fund, Account Code 7084-17500-1144004ICTADM, for the digitization and indexing of said records.

SECTION 3. That the Finance Director is authorized to issue warrant or warrants against the above-mentioned Account Codes in payment of obligations authorized above in a total amount not to exceed $300,000 upon presentation of proper voucher or vouchers.
