SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
City Council desires to change the Rules of Council as revised to January 24, 2024.

Summary
NOW THEREFORE Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That Rule V(B) of the Rules of Council, which reads as follows:

The standing committees of Council shall be:

1. Education, Recreation & Employment Committee

2. Finance, Debt & Budget Oversight Committee

3. Health Promotion & Access Committee

4. Neighborhoods & Community Development Committee

5. Public Safety & Criminal Justice Reform Committee

6. Regional Growth, Development & Small Business Enterprise Committee

7. Streets, Public Services & Utilities Committee

8. Water Quality & Sustainability Committee

9. Zoning & Planning Committee

be and the same is hereby repealed.

SECTION 2. That a new Rule V(B) of the Rules of Council be and the same is hereby enacted to read as follows:

B. The standing committees of Council shall be:

1. Parks, Education, Recreation & Health Committee

2. Finance Debt & Budget Oversight Committee

3. Intergovernmental and Administrative Services Committee

4. Housing & Community Development Committee

5. Public Safety and Criminal Justice Reform Committee

6. Regional Growth, Development & Small Business Enterprise Committee

7. Mobility, Sustainability and Beautification Committee

8. Water Quality Committee

9. Zoning & Planning Committee

SECTION 3. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
