Ordinance 367-23 authorized the expenditure of $80,000 and waived competitive bidding for this emergency work to clear trees at Detwiler and Cullen Park that were blown down or severely damaged by the June 15, 2023 tornado. SECTION 2. That the Mayor is authorized to amend the agreement with The Davey Tree Expert Company for emergency tree clearing and removal services, upon such terms and conditions as shall be approved by the Director of Parks and Youth Services and the Director of Law.

SECTION 3. That the Finance Director is authorized to draw warrant or warrants against the Account Code in Section 1 in payment of the above-authorized obligations in an amount not to exceed $50,000 upon presentation of the proper voucher or vouchers.
