SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:

On June 13, 2024, case number SPR-23-24 was considered by the Toledo City Plan Commission and the request for the approval of the site plan for a new commercial building located at 4505 N. Summit Street, Toledo, Ohio, was disapproved, and all things required by law to be done, have been done.

 

Applicant appealed the disapproval of the Toledo City Plan Commission, but the City Council Zoning and Planning Committee recommended approval of the appeal at their meeting on July 16, 2024. 

 

Summary

NOW THEREFORE Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

 

                     SECTION 1.  That the request for approval of a site plan review for a new commercial building located at 4505 N. Summit Street, Toledo, Ohio is hereby approved as presented to the Toledo City Plan Commission for that part of the City of Toledo, more fully described as follows:

                     

LAMAR TRACT PT LAWRENCE LANDS S 127 FT FRT E 174 FT ON S LINE THT PT N OF 101 ST AND W OF SUMMIT STREET.

 

                     SECTION 2.  That this Ordinance hereby is declared to be an emergency measure and shall be in force and effect from and after its passage.  The reason for the emergency lies in the fact that same is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and property, and for the further reason that the Ordinance must be immediately effective in order to provide for the orderly regulation and use of the property and to protect the land value in the area.

 

Vote on emergency clause:  yeas 11, nays 0.

 

Passed:  July 17, 2024, as an emergency measure:  yeas 11, nays 0.
