SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The City seeks to enter a contract with executive search consultants, Waverly Partners, LLC, for the identification, evaluation, and screening of applicants for the positions of Director of Finance, Director of Economic and Business Development, and Director of Information & Communication Technology. These positions are vital to the operation of the City and therefore candidates need to be identified and hired as expeditiously as possible. The agreement will be for a term not to exceed one year. Waverly Partners, LLC, is best-suited to achieve the City's objective of filling these important jobs within the administration.
Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is authorized to enter into a professional services agreement with Waverly Partners, LLC, for the identification, evaluation, and screening of applicants for the positions of Director of Finance, Director of Economic and Business Development, and Director of Information & Communication Technology for a term not to exceed one year and upon other terms and conditions deemed proper and requisite according to the Mayor, Director of Law, and the Director of Human Resources.
SECTION 2. That the sum of $75,000.00 is authorized for expenditure from the General Fund, Account Code 1001-17100-1156001STDSTD, for payment for...
