SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
This ordinance authorizes the reappropriation of funds within the 2024 Capital Improvement Budget to complete the purchase of a third street sweeper for the Division of Urban Beautification as authorized by Ordinance 570-24.
Summary
NOW THEREFORE Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That the disappropriation of $75,600 is authorized from the Capital Improvement Fund Account Code 5040-27100-8CP2426BKTTRK.
SECTION 2. That the appropriation of $75,600 is authorized from the unappropriated balance of the Capital Improvement Fund to Account Code 5040-27100-8CP2421STRSWP and the expenditure of same is authorized for the purchase of a street sweeper authorized by Ordinance 570-24.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. The reason for the emergency lies in the fact that this Ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and property of the city and for the further reason that this Ordinance must be immediately effective in order to timely complete the purchase of a street sweeper.
