Summary
WHEREAS, Clement C. "Clem" Cybulski, Jr. was a Point Place/Shoreland Resident since June 1947 and participant in Friendship Park activities since 1950, U.S. Air Force Veteran, and served as President of the Friendship Park Community Center Board of Directors; and

WHEREAS, Clem was a 1976 graduate of the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance/Commercial Banking; received training and certification in the Polish Language in 1966 with the Defense Language Institute West Coast; and

WHEREAS, Clem's private sector career included work as a corporate auditor, a corporate finance manager, a billing /program designer, and data services/program designer, his public services work included positions with the Catholic Charities for the Diocese of Toledo as Director of the Charities Homeowners Initiatives Program (CHIP)/HUD Counselor; and the Lucas County Veterans Services Commissioner as a Services Director; and

WHEREAS, Clem's community service activities included Friendship Park Community Center Board Member (12 years; 7 as President); #GIVINGTUESDAY Grant Writer; Co-Planner and Volunteer of FPCC Events (Heritage Dinner, Veterans Lunch, Trunk or Treats, etc.); AARP - Lucas County/Toledo Chapter 2707 - Vice President; Point Place Business Association (Currently a Board Member; Two-Term Past President; Parade Grand Marshall); AMVETS Post 1010 - Life Member: American Legion Post 110 - Annual Member; and VFW - Member; and

WHEREAS, Clem's dedication has earned him the NELSON MANDELA AWARD by the National Clients Council - NOW Area Chapter (1994) for Commitment to the Success of Members of the African American Community in NW Ohio; Point Place Business Association Business Person of the year; the OLE MAN OF THE RIVER by Point Place Area Yacht and Boat Clubs (2016) for Working to Impr...
